Brooke Industries, Inc. offers Organizational Employment Services through a facility‑based program that provides compensated, non‑competitive employment, with pay based on individual productivity. The program is customized to meet each person’s unique needs, focusing on the challenges most relevant to them, with the goal of maximizing vocational potential by increasing independence and the ability to perform a broad range of job‑related tasks.

Transitional Services
Brooke Industries, Inc. offers a Transitional Services option to individuals requiring additional support due to emotional/behavioral concerns, health issues, personal care, and/or safety needs. This program provides individuals with an opportunity to participate in ongoing, compensated, non-competitive employment, while becoming oriented to the primary organizational work environment.
Individuals may be assigned to this area during the initial stages of programming, following illness or injury, as a result of health regression, and/or due to circumstances requiring additional services. Support and supervision is provided to promote opportunities for individual growth.

Adult Day Services
Adult Day Services are available to individuals with an advanced level of emotional/behavioral concerns, health issues, personal care, and/or safety needs. Programming is based upon an individual's functioning level, assessed needs, and outcome goals.
Structured activities include: educational opportunities, exercise programs, life skills training, music therapy, pet therapy, recreation, socialization, and vocational opportunities. Support and supervision is provided to ensure a comprehensive program experience.

Vocational Assessment Services
Brooke Industries provides a structured vocational evaluation and training process that helps individuals understand their work abilities and prepare for successful employment. Through a 10‑day situational assessment and subsequent work adjustment training, individuals are evaluated across key work behaviors and skills, then supported with counseling and hands‑on activities to develop appropriate attitudes, habits, and readiness for entry or reentry into the job market.
10-Day Situational Assessment
The 10-day situational assessment is a process which assesses vocational capabilities and limitations. Individuals are placed on a diverse number of tasks allowing for observation and documentation in areas such as:

Work Adjustment Training
Following completion of a10-day situational assessment, the work adjustment training program utilizes vocational counseling in conjunction with vocational activities to assist individuals in understanding the requirements and demands of work.
The primary focus of the training process is to modify or develop appropriate attitudes, behavior, and work habits prior to entry into the job market. The program is also beneficial for individuals preparing to return to competitive employment following illness or injury.

Supported Employment and Placement Services
Brooke Industries, Inc. collaborates with other service providers to offer job coaching and related supported employment services in competitive employment settings.
Our qualified job coaches utilize structured training techniques with each individual to ensure job tasks are completed to the employer's specifications. One-on-one approaches are also used to assist individuals in acquiring interpersonal skills required at the job site.
In addition to on-site job training, job coaching includes: advocacy, assessment, developing natural supports, travel training, vocational counseling, and other services needed to maintain the employment. Training programs and ongoing support are individualized to meet the needs of each person. The goal of supported employment services is for an individual to achieve independent functioning on the job.
Eligibility & Funding
Brooke Industries, Inc. provides programs and services to individuals 16 years of age or older with an AODA, Brain Injury/Neurological Impairment, Developmental Disability, or Mental Health diagnosis.
Agencies such as a local Aging and Disability Resource Center administer the Long-Term Care Functional Screen to assess an individual's level of need for services and eligibility for long-term care benefits.



Brooke Industries, Inc. contracts with various funding sources including: County and State agencies, managed care organizations, and school districts. In addition, fees may be covered by insurance companies and Worker's Compensation. A self-pay funding option is also available for our programs and services.

Aktion Club
Beacons of Hope Aktion Club, established in 2009 and sponsored by the Fond du Lac Noon Kiwanis, provides adults with disabilities opportunities to develop leadership and initiative, serve their community, and participate fully in society. Through service and recreational activities, members demonstrate the dignity and value of individuals with disabilities while building skills, confidence, social connections, and the ability to contribute meaningfully to community life.
